Shinika is a heritage jewellery brand that celebrates elegance and tradition. The name itself reflects a sense of timeless beauty and grace, embodying the essence of royalty.
Shinika’s designs are inspired by India’s rich cultural heritage, blending traditional
craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.

Each piece tells a story, making the wearer feel like a queen

Story behind the name

When tasked with creating a name for a new jewelry brand, we derived “Shinika,” a name that embodies heritage and elegance. The client initially suggested “Ujlav,” but we proposed “Shinika” to better reflect the brand’s identity. The name combines elements from the owners’ names, Piyushi and Nikita, with “Shini” representing heritage and “Nika” adding a touch of grace. This thoughtful name choice underscores the brand’s commitment to timeless beauty and cultural richness.

The Logo: Crafting an Identity

The Shinika logo was designed to exude elegance and timeless beauty. The focus was solely on typography to convey the brand’s essence:

Typography: A Kugile font was chosen to reflect sophistication, with subtle customizations to add a personal touch and reinforce the sense of heritage.
The simplicity of the logo ensured versatility while maintaining a luxurious feel.

Colour Palette

The colors were chosen to evoke feelings of regality and tradition

These colors were carefully balanced to create a harmonious and impactful brand presence.

Challenges and Solutions

Extending the Brand: Design Collaterals

After finalizing the logo, we expanded Shinika’s brand presence by designing key collaterals that would enrich the customer experience while maintaining a cohesive and luxurious visual identity.

Business Cards

The business cards mirrored the brand’s sophisticated aesthetics. They were designed in two color themes: maroon with gold typography and white with maroon text, ensuring a memorable impression.

Packaging Design

Moving away from traditional jewelry boxes, we crafted high quality bags in two variations: maroon and white. These bags, featuring the logo prominently in gold, were sturdy, luxurious, and perfectly aligned with the brand’s elegance.

Thank You Card

A heartfelt thank-you card were designed in two color options: maroon with gold accents and white with maroon detailing. These cards added a personal and elegant touch to each customer purchase, reflecting Shinika’s emphasis on customer appreciation.

Social Media Launch

To maintain brand consistency on digital platforms, we developed sleek templates for Instagram and other social media. These templates featured Shinika’s signature fonts, rich color palette, and subtle design elements, highlighting the brand’s heritage in a modern way.

Exhibition

Shinika took its first big step in connecting with customers by participating in a heritage jewelry exhibition. The event became a perfect platform to unveil the brand’s unique identity, combining timeless designs with a modern touch.
